The Chancellor family is near and dear to my heart. We met a few summers ago while I was lucky enough to photograph the marriage of these two special parents, Karen and Byron (at a gorgeous lake house).

While a typical day here in Wisconsin consists of unpredictable weather, we lucked out for this beautiful session last weekend at Bradford Beach. (Almost as beautiful as their wedding day...almost...)

From total strangers...to now basically a member of the family; it's been such a blessing to continue to watch every member of their family grow, and celebrate all their victories in life! I love that we've shared countless laughs and made tons of wonderful memories over the years.

Mount Mary Wedding Photographer: Katie and Max June Wisconsin Wedding

From the sunrise into the early afternoon, it was raining. Unsurprisingly, a June wedding with rain was quite peaceful on the Mount Mary campus, as Katie and Max tied the knot. The 'good luck' of rain on their wedding day, brought about sunshine following their union in front of family and friends (for the remainder of their celebration).

Their day was every bit as intimate as it was charming. Tea lights and fresh flowers were placed across the alter; tea cups filled with tiny cacti filled the reception. Katie even prepared a song she felt inspired to write about her upcoming marriage to her lifelong partner, Max. Her mom sang it acapella to the room full of loved ones, gathered to celebrate their declaration of love.

Guests exited with smores as they encouraged everyone to have 's'more fun' outside the reception hall by the fire pit, outdoors, overlooking a fantastic sea of trees and hills.
